All data you create in MacroSnap is stored exclusively in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service:
- Macro entries: Stored in your iCloud
- Daily goals: Stored in your iCloud
- Macro presets: Stored in your iCloud
- App preferences: Stored locally on your device and synced via iCloud
We never have access to your data. Your information syncs directly between your devices through your personal iCloud account.
Apple Services We Use
CloudKit (iCloud Sync)
- Used to sync your data across your devices
- Data is stored in your personal iCloud account
- Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
- We cannot access, view, or modify your data
StoreKit (In-App Purchases)
- Used to process Pro feature purchases
- Handled entirely by Apple
- We do not collect or store payment information
- Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
UserNotifications (Reminders)
- Used to send local notifications for streak reminders
- Notifications are generated on your device
- No data is transmitted to external servers
- You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings
Siri & Shortcuts
- Used to provide voice command functionality
- All processing happens on your device
- No voice data is transmitted to our servers
- Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
No Third-Party Services
MacroSnap does not use:
- Analytics services (no Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
- Crash reporting services
- Advertising networks
- Social media integrations
- Any third-party data collection tools
Children's Privacy
MacroSnap is suitable for users of all ages. Since we don't collect any personal information, we comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and other child privacy regulations.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect your data, there's nothing for us to:
- Delete

- Access
All your data is in your control through your iCloud account.
Data Security
- Your data is encrypted in transit using Apple's security standards
- Your data is stored securely in your iCloud account
- We never transmit your data to our servers
- No account or password is required to use MacroSnap

- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Posting an update in the app (for significant changes)

Data Deletion
To delete all your MacroSnap data:
- Delete the app from your device
- Go to iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → MacroSnap
- Select "Delete Data" or "Disable & Delete"
This will permanently remove all MacroSnap data from your iCloud account.
Legal Basis (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA):
- We process data based on your consent (by using the app)
- We do not collect personal data, so most GDPR provisions do not apply
- Your data is stored in your iCloud account, governed by Apple's policies
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
For California residents:
